GET READY FOR THE TOEFL EXAM AT N.J.E.C.
This course is designed to prepare students for the TOEFL (Test Of English as a Foreign language). The TOEFL iBT test measures the English proficiency and academic skills of nonnative speakers of English. It is required primarily by English-language colleges and universities. Additionally, institutions such as government agencies, businesses, or scholarship programs may require this test. TOEFL iBT currently consists of the following four sections:
Reading
This section consists of 3 long passages, 39 questions for approximately 60 minutes
Listening
This section consists of 6 passages, 34 questions for approximately 60 minutes
Speaking
This section consists of 6 tasks and 6 questions for approximately 20 minutes
Writing
This section consists of 6 tasks and 6 questions for approximately 20 minutes
